Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. One bookable staff member, 75 appointments a month, booking page and widget with koupe branding, calendar, clients and email reminders. No card, no time limit. Upgrade when you want SMS, deposits, a second barber or calendar sync.
What do you mean by "no marketplace fees"?
Some apps list your shop in their marketplace and keep up to 20% of a new client's first booking, even clients who found you on Google. koupe never does. You pay a flat monthly price per location; every client you bring in is yours.
Can I import my clients from Fresha, Booksy, Square, Setmore or Acuity?
Yes. Export a CSV from your current app and upload it. Clients and services come over in minutes; appointments on a best-effort basis. Your client list stays yours and can be exported again any time.
Do my clients need to create an account?
No. Clients book as guests with their name, phone and email. No app to download, no marketplace profile. Returning clients are recognized by phone or email.
How do payments and deposits work?
Payments run on Stripe Connect with payouts to your own bank account. Cards cost Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢ plus a 0.4% koupe platform fee. Deposits are taken at booking; the balance and tip are settled at checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported.
What if I want to leave?
Cancel any time from your settings. Export clients, appointments and receipts as CSV and JSON before you go. We keep nothing hostage.
