These terms govern the use of the koupe platform by shops ("you") and are a structured placeholder pending review by counsel. [TO BE REVIEWED BY COUNSEL]

1. The service

koupe provides online booking, calendar, reminders, payments and client-management software for barbershops and salons, on a subscription basis per location, as described at koupe.ca/pricing.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for your staff accounts and for the accuracy of your services, prices and policies shown to clients. You may not use koupe to send messages without the consent required by CASL, or in breach of applicable law.

3. Fees, billing and trials

Plans are billed per location, monthly or annually, in Canadian dollars, taxes extra. New shops receive a 14-day Pro trial without a card. Card payments processed through koupe carry Stripe's fees plus a 0.4% koupe platform fee. SMS beyond the plan allowance is billed at $0.04 per segment. You may cancel at any time; annual plans are not refunded pro rata. [TO BE REVIEWED BY COUNSEL]

4. Payments, deposits and no-shows

Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. You are responsible for your deposit and cancellation policies and for complying with consumer-protection law in your province — in Québec, pre-set no-show penalties are not permitted and koupe disables card-on-file fees for Québec locations.
